Engage fully and participate in the session Engage fully and participate in the session. Every voice is very important. No cell phones, PDAs and pagers except at breaks or for emergencies. One conversation at a time. Each person is given a chance to share their thoughts. Every idea is important. Be succinct and speak with positive intent. It’s ok to attack the process, but not the people. Use the Parking Lot to record side issues / topics. EVERYONE Engage and Participate as equally as possible. Ground Rules

Current Vision Statement

Current Mission Statement Advise policy makers on the needs of persons with disabilities in emergency plans. Advise county and other local governments on access to programs, services and activities, new construction or renovation projects, sidewalks, other pedestrian routes of travel, and disability parking enforcement. Develop local initiatives and activities to promote greater awareness of disability issues, and acceptance, involvement and access for persons with disabilities within the community. January 2011 Two Truths and a Lie Each person prepares three statements, two of which are true and one of which is a lie. In any order, the person shares the three statements to the entire group. The object of the game is to figure out which statement a lie. The rest of the group votes on each statement, and the person reveals which one is the lie.
