"Standardization : The Bridge towards Ubiquitous World" Home Networking Issues Discussed: Presentation on Home Networking in the ITU-T (gsc12_gtsc5_08) Presentation on ITU-T Joint Co-ordination Activity on Home Networking (gsc12_gtsc5_08a1) Presentation on Home Networking Activities in ETSI TISPAN (gsc12_gtsc5_21) Main Outcome: Participating Standards Organizations (PSOs) and other standards bodies were encouraged to work with the ITU-T to develop harmonized Home Networking standards. It was noted that TIA and ETSI were currently playing a role in work with ITU-T on Home Networking matters From TIA’s perspective TIA Engineering Committee TR30 is doing Broadband over Power Line Standards and TIA is US TAG Administrator for JTC1 SC25 and SC25 Working Group 1. The Home Networking Resolution (GSC11/18) was reviewed and it was noted their was some interest in a revision and further discussion would occur in a drafting group The revised Resolution was reviewed and accepted (GTSC5/03, gsc12_closing_31) Maintained as HIS for GSC-13; ITU remains Prime PSO "Standardization : The Bridge towards Ubiquitous World"
