The Relationship between Sexual and Gender Rights TfaC’s 3 Sexual Rights are underpinned by 3 Gender Rights The right to access comprehensive SRH services The right to say NO to unwanted sex The right to report sexual abuse Sexual Rights The right to education and healthcare The right to report discrimination and abuse The right to be listened to and heard Gender Rights

How do we measure IMPACT? The right to say NO to unwanted sex We use the following indicators; Participants have the knowledge of their right to say no to unwanted sex Participants have the confidence to say no to unwanted sex Participants report the ability to say no to unwanted sex Participants demonstrate the ability to say no to unwanted sex This leads to the outcome INDIVIDUALS HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE HOW AND WHEN THEY HAVE SEX

How do we measure IMPACT? The right to access comprehensive SRH services We use the following indicators; Participants have the knowledge of their right to access comprehensive SRH services Participants have the confidence to access comprehensive SRH services Participants assert their rights and access comprehensive SRH services This leads to the outcome IMPROVED ACCESS AND UPTAKE OF SRH SERVICES

How do we measure IMPACT? The right to report sexual abuse We use the following indicators; Participants have the knowledge of their right to report abuse Participants have the confidence to realise their right to report abuse Participants assert their right to report abuse This leads to the outcome REDUCTION IN ABUSE
