Homework Expectations You need to bring completed homework to class on the assigned due date Homework needs to be completed to the best of your ability You will not be allowed to retrieve homework from your locker. It is considered late and you will be assigned a 9th Period to complete the assignment.

Homework Expectations Any homework that is corrected in class, and you do not have finished or is not with you, will be given the grade of zero. You will not be allowed to make up the assignment. (The only exception to this is if you are absent on the day we correct the assignment.) You will do your own work. Homework assignments ARE NOT group assignments unless I have specifically told you that you can work in groups. Homework Expectations

9th Period will result in . . . 9th Period can be held ANY day of the week. 9th Period will result in being held after school until the late assignment is finished. The grade on the late assignment will be reduced 50% off of the EARNED grade. Your name will be taken off the NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS LIST which enables you to special privileges in class.

A skipped 9th Period will result in . . . A skipped 9th Period will result in an extra 25% being taken off of the assignment for a total of 75% off the earned grade. Skipping 9th Period will also result in a telephone call, note, or e-mail to your parents/guardians. Skipping 9th Period twice will result in ALC. If you are assigned 9th Period for another teacher on the same day as one assigned by me, you MUST inform me. Skipping 9th Period for me due to having ZAP for another teacher will still be considered a SKIPPED 9th Period unless I am informed.

Plagiarism and Cheating! What is plagiarism? To steal or pass off the ideas or words of another as one’s own, whether this be from a published source or from one’s classmates. What is cheating? To represent someone else’s work as your own, whether this is through copying someone’s work, having them do the work for you, or by looking at other’s work while completing the assignment and representing it as your own.

The Consequences! Cheating and plagiarism will not be tolerated! ALL tests, quizzes, assignments, projects and papers that you cheat on will be given the grade of ZERO. Parents will be notified of each cheating offense. You will not be able to retake or make up the points from the assignment. Repeated cheaters will lose classroom privileges and may take all tests and quizzes in ALC or the office. Repeated cheaters will be referred to the office for further disciplinary actions.
