Academies of Loudoun – Field Trip Academy of Science, Academy of Engineering and Technology 30 Students will be selected by lottery to attend the field trip. Field Trip is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9th Consider the following: Do you have an Interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math? Are you interested in applying to AET or AOS next fall? Students who apply to AOS must be in Algebra 1 in 8th grade. Students who apply to AET must be in geometry in 8th grade. Representatives from the Academies of Loudoun will visit HPMS on May 13th to deliver a presentation to all 7th grade students as an assembly in the auditorium.

How do I Enter the Lottery for the Field Trip to the AOL? Go to LCPS GO Click on the icon that says The Academies of Loudoun Field Trip Form Fill out the form completely and submit You will have until Tuesday , March 26th to enter the lottery, so sign up asap. After the lottery, students will be notified of their spot by receiving a permission slip in homeroom. Permission slips will need to be returned by the due date to secure your spot. Remember, only 30 spots are available. If you are not selected for the field trip, you will receive all the information necessary to understand what is offered at the Academies of Loudoun and the application process. This includes how to apply to the Academy of Engineering and Technology and/or the Academy of Science. Please contact Mrs. Kole with any questions.
