family

Love of Family when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 2 Timothy 1:5

Love of Family 24 Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth:25 Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths;26 For she has cast down many wounded, And all who were slain by her were strong men.27 Her house is the way to hell, Descending to the chambers of death. Proverbs 7:24-27

Love of Family Hear, my son, and be wise; And guide your heart in the way. Proverbs 23:19

Care of Family 4 And his sons would go and feast in their houses, each on his appointed day, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.

Care of Family 5 So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly. Job 1:4-5

Care of Family 9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips. Job 2:9-10

Spiritual family

Love of the spiritual Family Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Romans 12:15

Love of the spiritual Family For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; Colossians 1:9

Care of the spiritual Family Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16

Care of the spiritual Family …love one another fervently with a pure heart, 1 Peter 1:22b

Care of the spiritual Family Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11

Heavenly family

Love of the heavenly Family For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Love of the heavenly Family But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Care of the heavenly Family There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12

Care of the heavenly Family 13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14

Care of the heavenly Family 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Care of the heavenly Family 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. Revelation 21:4-7

conclusion 1. Are you doing your part as a member of your family? 2. The Christian can have all three types of families but only the Christian. 3. If you want to join God and be a part of His family you must be obedient.
