Internet2 California Update Ana Preston Director, State and Regional Networks Internet2

Abstract Internet2 members leverage our high-performance network and worldwide partnerships to support and enhance their educational and research missions. Beyond just providing network capacity, Internet2 actively promotes and engages our community in the development of important efforts and projects to support cyberinfrastructure. During this talk, we will highlight some of the efforts underway which provide important components towards supporting the goals of a cyberinfrastructure-enabled nation, with a couple of examples illustrating how Internet2 is working with its members and with CENIC Associates to address the challenges ahead. Attendees are invited to ask any questions about Internet2 and its current activities and planning.
