LT. Cunningham’s Class This week in: We are learning: Reading: We are going to read Benjamin Banneker:Pioneer Scientist. We are focusing on drawing conclusions. Math: We are still going over dividing and patterns/sequences. ISTEP prep is a continued practice, too. Social Studies: Map Skills – Exploring Canada. We are also going to start a unit on the first Indians in Indiana and how people settled here. Important Reminders News ISTEP starts March 1st. I will have specific times at a later date If your child normally has to stay after for a club and they won’t on a specific day, please send a note to school so I know. If they get all of the words on the pretest correct, then they don’t have to take a post test and will work on challenge words. Fridays are spelling test days and the results will be sent home either that day or Monday. You can also go online to see your student’s scores on activities and tests!
