Presentation and Fun Day June 8th, 2019 Editor: Andy Hoiles Mob: 07522 903726 Email: andy.hoiles@hotmail.com

Schedule for June 8th at SPCC The CTFC Presentation and Fun Day is set to be the biggest and best in the history of the event. With over 350 players now registered with the club there will be well in excess of. 1,000 people in attendance in what is possibly the largest sporting event in Basingstoke and surrounding areas. To find out more what to expect continue reading!

Come early and Enjoy the Event! Proceedings start at 12:00 when the first presentation begins and the stalls open. Perfect weather has been booked to allow everyone to arrive early and make the most of the day! We have changed the order slightly this year so that if there are the inevitable clashes we don’t impact the same people every time. With the number of teams we are now running we have to run the presentations in parallel to get through them in the afternoon. Next year we will change the order again to make it as fair as possible. Every age group or team has a slot reserved in one of the halls for their presentation when the managers and coaches will recognise everyone who has contributed to possibly the best season in the club’s history. This will last around 20 to 25 minutes to allow time to get to the photo area so that everyone can take pictures in recognition of the season past. One of the pitches is then reserved for 30 minutes of football. Before and after the more formal proceedings everyone can socialise and enjoy the entertainment on offer. This year we have some activities that are free of charge to keep the entertainment going alongside fundraising activities that allow us to keep the player fees as low as possible for the next season. Towards the end of the day there will be some announcements made on the field and the raffle draw which always has some amazing prizes on offer. Bring your gazebos, picnic rugs, and anything else you might need to make a real day of it. This year we have included additional catering to provide more options and of course the bar will provide a variety of refreshments! Each team usually creates a camp and it provides a unique opportunity to meet the other teams to share experiences and feel part of our amazing club. Phil, Jonathan and the team reps have planned a great event that looks set to be the best ever!
