IBM PCD Process Transition What is Changing The IBM Process is being called the Material Declaration (MD) Process. IBM to take over role of MD Analyst from WSP. MD Analysts will be located in IBM Singapore reporting to Wen Wei Low. IBM Engineers will request PCD’s internally using a new tool that will replace the WSP Graphical User Interface (GUI). MD Analysts will use a new tracking tool called iSupport. Error Summary tab is being added to PCD to make it easier for Suppliers to correct critical errors in the PCD. One Functional Email address to submit PCD’s that were not specifically requested will be provided. What is not Changing Supplier expected to stay familiar with 46G3772 spec and remains responsible for content reporting. MD Analyst support team will handle the administrative validation of PCD’s as was being done by WSP. IBM Procurement Quality Engineer (PQE) responsible to review declarations made or not made in PCD and resolve technical questions with supplier. Suppliers expected to respond to requests in a timely fashion. Suppliers submit PCD prior to shipping parts to IBM or to IBM Contract Manufacturer. Suppliers expected to provide PCD for all IBM PN’s whether or not it was specifically requested. Supplier is expected to review the Error Summary Tab and not submit PCDs with errors. 18 July 2019

Summary of Changes for PCD Version 6/11/18 Rev. 003 Added a new “Error Summary” sheet to the PCD. Consolidates the critical and non-critical errors in a PCD to facilitate correction of errors prior to submission of a completed PCD. Error Summary Tab SVHC Reportable Tab Added a check for skipped/blank rows between rows of data. A critical error will be displayed if a row has been skipped. A critical error will prevent processing of the PCD. 18 July 2019

Error Summary Tab – Suppliers should review for errors prior to submitting 1. To review an error message, click on the hyperlink for more information on how to correct the message. 2. If all critical error messages are fixed, message in the Data Summary (row 2) indicates ‘OK’, this means the PCD can now be submitted. Reportable SVHC Tab In the Reportable SVHC tab, if there are multiple rows of data to be declared, fill out the information in consecutive rows. DO NOT skip any rows. Summary and Key Messages IBM cut-off dates for new requests to WSP are February 28 (standard TAT) and March 8 (expedited TAT) WSP will be working on closing PCD requests through March 22. Suppliers must complete all open WSP requests as soon as possible in order to avoid individual requests crossing over from WSP to IBM. Suppliers should start seeing requests from the IBM MD Analysts on and after March 4. When receiving a PCD request, if you are not the correct contact to handle the request, please inform the IBM MD Analyst that the contact information for your company has changed. Effective March 31, IBM MDAs will be the only point of contact for all PCD data collection and processing regardless of whether WSP was involved in the original request. Fundamental roles not changing: Supplier responsible for reporting and compliance MD Analyst requests, performs administrative validation and loads the PCD into IBM Systems. IBM PQE responsible to resolve technical questions with the supplier. New PCD form 6/11/18 Rev 003 will be made available on March 4 which includes an Error Summary tab that displays all error messages from the other tabs in the PCD. The old version of the PCD (Version 6/11/18 Rev. 002) will not be accepted after April 1. Suppliers should review the Error Summary tab and correct critical errors prior to submitting the PCD to IBM. 19 18 July 2019
