Moodle We need to have all courses in TCA set up on Moodle - (Course Leaders/Managers to do it) For those who are not confident (Patti Taylor will deliver staff development where necessary)

Tri Annual Course Evaluations What is your plan for review week Each course should have a temporary one week timetable for students to include; Individual 1:1 session timetable VT’s continue to teach. Any trips should be identified Any workshops or catch up times identified We need to see a development plan for all at risk students which shows how we are going to support them to succeed.

Teaching and skills Tell me what skills of yours are being utilised well Tell me what skills of yours are not being utilised and could be. I.E; - are their things you can teach and would like to that you are not doing at the moment

Resources/Communication Are there any resources we lack and that we could do with that are not of huge expense - (i.e. computers) that would help make things easier? Is there anything that we could use (across the board) that would make communication more efficient?

Finally Please email me with the data I have requested. Contact me personally if you have any reason to. Remember that the key focus should be on out turn results for the end of the year and success and retention of students going into the second year.

Finally 2 Please could all course leaders/mangers place a current tracking sheet on Moodle that is accessible only to staff - by Easter please. Please could I have a list of external verifier dates for all courses. I would like to see your samples at least two weeks before the visit date I would like to make a one to one meeting slot with every member of staff and would like to see your course files assignment and alike at this meeting - please come and see me to make a booking
