Presentation transcript:

Friday This is a well established and heavily traveled trail. This is mainly a forested area. At point B there is a place to get a drink and take a potty break. We will camp at point C

Saturday Short Group: You will mainly be hiking along the forested ridgeline. Long Group: You will be hiking both ridges and hollows. Both groups will hike to our ridgetop camp at H

Sunday The beginning of the hike will be mostly ridgeline. After point G there is a switchback. Between 19 and point O we will be walking parallel to Irish ridge road, which we will cross at point O. After we cross, we will descend into a hollow. Wile hiking in the hollow we can expect to cross the stream a few times, but these crossings should be simple (except in times of bad weather). Next we will pass through a marshy area. This part of the trail is not as well marked as the rest. The trail will come to furnace ridge road close to point P. We will take this back to the trail head.
