State-of-the-Play WISE MR & ML GIS layers already used for WFD viewer published Dec. 2010, linked with attributed WB status information. Selection criteria: WISE MR: catchment > 500 km2 or reported as MR WISE ML: surface > 10 km2 or reported as ML WISE ML considered ready for publication as GIS ref.layers. WISE MR missing names for some rivers.

New map of Natural sub basins in Europe (draft) - Relatively homogenous delineation - Available for comments (some names missing) http://discomap.eea.europa.eu/trial/subbasins
