IPSG Membership Committee Update Derek M. Kelly

Membership Requirements Provisional Member- Looking to become active Pediatric orthopedic surgeon with membership to their country’s pediatric orthopedic society Obtain Department Head approval (letter), ensuring that they have the resources and departmental support available to participate in the study Digital x-ray capability Perfusion MRI capability if contributing patients to the early stage studies (must send in a perfusion MRI following the IPSG MRI protocol) IRB Approval (with all doctors recruiting for your institution listed) Active participation in the study group efforts and assigned subgroup. Participation in annual IPSG meeting at TSRH in Dallas, Texas.

Membership Requirements Active Member – once the first patient is enrolled Enrolls a patient into one of the IPSG prospective observational cohort studies Recruit a minimum of 1 patient per year (?) Keep a log of patients who were eligible for the study (i.e. patient consented or declined entry into the study) Exclusion form for excluded patients Must have an 80% follow-up rate with their patients enrolled in the study Complete study data in REDCap database If an active member fails to maintain the criteria specified above, their membership status will be considered “Inactive”.

Membership Requirements Scientific Member - work in a capacity of contributing to the study design, study protocol development, data analysis and/or data monitoring. Education at the level of a Ph.D or MD Provide a letter of IPSG support from Departmental Chief Participation in the annual IPSG Meeting at TSRH in Dallas, Texas
