Commencement Practice Home and Visitor side Lining up Senior Representatives, NHS, CSF, AVID, Choir Walking out Sitting down as a group Standing and walking to receive your diploma Write your name on the name card Shake with your right and get diploma with your left Walk around the chairs to go back to your seat (you will be in a different order when you get back to your seat) Wait for the ceremony to end Exit the same order you came in (follow the row in front of you) Stand when staff asks you to stand

Graduation Day Arrive at the GGHS gym by 6:15/30 Enter the North Gym Drop off/Pick up

What to do…. Arrive on time Enter through the gate carrying your gown No cell phones can be taken on the field during the ceremony Best to leave them with family and arrange a meeting place You will be able to check them in with faculty Enter the gym, use the restroom, take pictures with friends Start lining up at 7:15 We take the field at exactly 7:30

Dress code You will not be able to participate in the ceremony if you do not follow these guidelines!
