The DPUK Imaging platform
Introduction Dementias Platform Imaging platform Design Implementation Challenges / next steps
XNAT is an open source imaging informatics platform developed by the Neuroinformatics Research Group at Washington University. Source code: https://bitbucket.org/nrg Uses its own (very permissive) license that can be found in the source code.
DPUK Imaging The goals of imaging platform are to help researchers break out of any silos that they may or may not inhabit and responsibly share images and pipelines. We standardized around a single tool, XNAT, so that researchers from multiple locations could get familiar with using it, but we’ve customised it in different ways depending the context. We’ve created different XNATs for: Central hub/xnat Institution nodes Biobank node And in this talk and I’m going to walk you examples of each.
Technologies used – vagrant, openstack, ansible
