9/20 Warm-up: What is population density? Give me an example of an area with both low/high population density?

Postcard Activity Today you will be writing a postcard home from your travels from a distant Texas city. You will be using your notes over the Texas regions and the Texas almanacs to complete this activity.

Postcard Activity On the back of your postcard you must have: One paragraph (5-7 sentences) including the following information: Population (population #- from the almanac pgs. 398- 426 and if it is a rural/urban city- hint below/above 2500 people) Wildlife/plants you many see (TX regions graphic organizer) Economic activities people are doing in the region (TX regions graphic organizer) Any fun festivals (pg. 186-187 of the Almanac) your city has On the front your postcard you must have: A colorful visual representation The name of your city Pictures/graphics that represent you city
