Don’t forget to clean out your child’s red folder each night to make sure you don’t miss any important papers. When sending in money, please write what the money is for (example: lunch money, book fair money, Santa Shop, etc.). If you have any Box Tops please glue them to the Box Top sheet and send them in with your child. Our class can win a prize if we collect the most! Please make sure that your child’s name is on their homework and that you sign it upon completion. Please practice reading with your child. The books that come home in their red folders are great! If you have not already, please subscribe to our class’ website. It’s super easy, just go to the staff directory on the Marr/Cook website, click on my name and underneath my picture hit subscribe.  I use this website to post important reminders, picture and tips. Letter recognition – We focused more in depth on letter Bb. The students also worked on L-blends, writing sentences and reading. Sight Words – are, now Math – Students worked on identifying number partners and switch partners. We also continued with addition and subtraction practice.
