Conclusions For about 30 % of notified substances, multiple classifications exist, with no signs of convergence More convergence is needed, especially to assist smaller DUs ECHA initiated an awareness raising campaign when launching the C&L Platform and sends specific alerts to all notifiers when someone initiates a discussion Nevertheless, the C&L Platform is not used by Industry The obligation rests with Industry but active involvement of all parties concerned is needed Industry associations can play a pivotal role 18 July 2019 echa.europa.eu
