Biggest Problems: Biggest Threat: Deviation of lamellas   Deviation of lamellas Breakage of glue lines at the edges Small cracks in finger joint. Biggest Threat: Losing customers is the main threat.

Processes to be observed Gluing Wood Process Types Doses Softwood Hardwood After cutting in primary industry Before cutting in secondary industry Drying Machinery Pressing Time Before pressing After pressing

Causes could be: Customer handling and transportation.   Customer handling and transportation. Machinery of lamellas (Planing machine) Moisture content (In the storage, very low temperature or high temperature) Single fibers of the laminate can deviate the remaining lamellas. Fibers generally moves which are present at the end while applying pressure to the lamellas to get glued. Wood stock is uneven (inconsistent stock thickness) Glue too cold Improper adhesive spread Substrates don’t make direct contact Press time too short.
