3DEP (Lidar) Program Update Lidar/DEM Sources & Dates 2011 – 2013 Statewide QL3 Lidar project took advantage of existing data, and homogenized into seamless statewide coverage 2011 -2013 Lidar and its derivatives (DEMs) have a collection date for data represented in the files. USGS 3DEP Program – Recommends 8 year refresh cycle.
