Structure of the houses are based on the climatic condition in which theses are built. In Assam it rains heavily and often flood, hence their houses are made 10-12 feet above the ground Example: slit house. Manali is a hilly area where it rains heavily and snows as well ,hence their houses are made of stone or wood with sloping roof. Big cities like Delhi people are living in flats and multistoried buildings due to huge population. There are large number of people living in big cities as the space is very less, many people do not have houses at all so they have to live in small huts.
