MIWP Action 2016.5 on « List of priority data sets » Policy issue Policy needs for timely, comparable and consistent spatial data to develop, assess and evaluate environmental legislation. Streamlining of the process part of monitoring and reporting under the environmental acquis. Environmental relevant spatial data has not been fully identified. Spatial data is not documented Spatial data is not accessible online for discovery, view, download Spatial data offerings across MS are inconsistent. The overall availability of environmental reporting information is too low to warrant a transition to eReporting processes. Analysis Specific objectives Identify, document and make accessible in a consistent way EU-level spatial data that are relevant for the environmental acquis.
