While I pass out the papers, Open your story document file save as Keep the same title and add revised—save This way we have 2 documents now—the original the one you are revising I recommend working in regular Word--
Revisions--- Highlight original printed copy in packet-check off the steps as go Step 1: number each paragraph as we did yesterday (1) Step 2: revise for plot elements ***Step 3: double check your 1st person POV. Do you specifically show Mrs. Wynnes’s thoughts and feelings throughout the story? Step 4: Do I have a formal tone? Revise diction (watch for contractions too) Step 5: Revise the language that is the same(plagiarized) from Gardner’s Step 6: Did I include 1 specific detail from my station cobra notes? Step 7: Did I use 1 simile, metaphor, or personification (differently from Gardner) which type? What paragraph?
