Large View of Compress Pictures Tool Working with the Compress Picture Button on the Picture Toolbar in Word and PowerPoint to Reduce File Sizes Highlight any picture and this toolbar should appear. If not, go to View, Toolbars, Picture to turn this toolbar on. Compress Pictures Tool Picture Toolbar as it looks in Word Large View of Compress Pictures Tool Highlight any picture. Click the Compress Pictures Button. Apply to all pictures in document. Change the resolution to Web/Screen. (Choose print option if you want quality printing.) Leave the 2 boxes checked under options. Click OK. Save the document. The file size should be much smaller. The pictures are now optimized for viewing---not for printing. June M.
