But knowledge collected about your city is often difficult to access, and the methods used to gather data are limited. Involving citizens in data collection will allow them a shared responsibility for the city. Designing how data is collected, and how it is translated into communication, is a vital aspect. Scaling up prospects We plan to develop not only a ‘citizens’ atlas’ of our city of operation, but also a methodology on how to create a network of inquisitive citizens in other cities.
