Quick, fun formative assessment activities

Why experiment with a range of formative assessment activities? Fun activities engage learners and strengthen the learning process. Formative assessment is just one tool that will provide learners with a clear picture of their progress and areas that require further development. When applied consistently formative assessment provides teachers with opportunities to adapt your teaching methods to meet the learners needs. Variety is the spice of life! for you and your learners.

Over to you In pairs consider a lesson objective you are familiar with. Explore the assessment activities and pick at least two that you would consider using to formatively assess your lesson outcome. Justify you choices to your partner.

Tweet or snapchat Tweet or snap chat at least one thing you have learnt in this session. All resources will be available in the October Teaching and Learning Newsletter #Innovate Thank you for attending my session, I welcome your feedback.
