Interim Schedule Who: All 6th graders When: Thursday February 8th/4th and 5th period What: ELA interim Why: to see what you know and place students in or exit out of intervention (scores may go in the gradebook)

Remember: Take your time This is not a race Rewards for top grades and most improved Rock this test!

Central idea – main idea, mostly about Inclusion- to include Favorable- beneficial, right, suitable Proposal – a plan or suggestion Accuracy/accurate- the quality of being correct Proposition- a suggested plan of action Development- the process of changes that advance the story Logic that is used – reasoning and thinking Accomplish – achieve or completely succeed Chronological order – time order of events Inference – a conclusion reached on logic Summarize- a brief statement of main points Excitability – the quality of being excited; elated Conclusion (other than end of the story)- result; final decision Author’s purpose – describe (inform), entertain, persuade? Claim- primary point the author makes
