Research Highlights July-December 2011 Engineering Research Center received $4 million in FY 2012 funding (Year 4 of project); NSF expressed expectation that funding will continue through at least Year 8. Dr. Abolghasem Shahbazi, Natural Resources-Environmental Design, School of Agriculture, received DOE federal appropriation award for $750,000 for three years. DORED wrote and submitted proposal to N.C. Department of Commerce, Energy R&D Cost Sharing Program, and received award for $187,500 for Dr. Shahbazi’s cost share for DOE award.
