Ezekiel 34:11 - For thus says the Lord Ezekiel 34:11 -  For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep & seek them out.” Matthew 18:14 - "So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.”

Jesus is … God paying our ransom to get us back!

Jesus’ On-Going Mission Is Our Restoration to the Father Where Is Jesus Now? Jesus’ On-Going Mission Is Our Restoration to the Father Matt. 28:18-20 - "All authority has been given to Me in heaven & on earth. 19  "Go therefore & make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father & the Son & the Holy Spirit, 20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; & lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

“Making Disciples” is not: To get a lot of people to go to church! For the world to be a little nicer, or even a lot nicer! To give some rules that help some people. or to have a club that “meets my needs…”

We need transformation from the inside out ! We MUST be disciples! … who make disciples! What am I doing to make disciples?

Jesus’ (and MY) ongoing mission is to restore each person to God.

II. Mission Accomplished: The Return of the King In that day, “... EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven & on earth & under the earth, 11  & that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11

Jesus will rule with the hands of a healer! Jesus will heal the natural world - Rom 8:19-22 - For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21  that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22  For we know that the whole creation groans & suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

Jesus will heal society - Rev 22:2 - On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; & the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.   Jesus will rule with the hands of a healer!

Jesus will heal each disciple: body, heart, & soul – 1 Cor. 15:51-53 – “We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, & the dead will be raised imperishable, & we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, & this mortal must put on immortality.”

Jesus will heal each disciple:  Rev. 21:4 – “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; & there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." 1 John 3:2 – “Now we are children of God, & it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.”

He’s not just our King! He is our elder brother. Sent by the Father! To be our Savior! The king of the Jews
