Objective: I can demonstrate the expectations of REP on the school bus and field trips.

Setting: School bus and field trips

Expectations Taught: Respectful: keep your hands to yourself, remain seated at all times, use appropriate language, follow all bus rules, be respectful to adults and others, speak quietly Engaged: keep your hands to yourself, remain seated, follow all bus rules, pay attention to your route and final destination Prepared: know your bus number, know your bus stop, arrive at the stop 5 minutes early, go directly to your bus during departure time, sign up for transportation alerts.

Examples: Students are sitting in their seats until it is time to get off the bus. Students are talking quietly to their neighbors. Students are keeping their hands to themselves. Students are following all of the bus driver’s directions. Students are riding on their assigned bus.

Non-examples: Students are moving from seat to seat on the bus. Students are yelling, screaming, and fighting on the bus. Students are arguing with the bus driver. Students are getting on the wrong bus. Students are getting on or off the bus at the wrong bus stop.
