Lester Brown Trinity Hill

Lester Brown Lester Brown was born in Bridgetown, New Jersey. He has lived in the United States for his entire life. Lester Brown was originally a farmer but later became an enviornmental analyst for the United States government. He went on to author or co-author over 50 books on the enviornmental impacts of society, international enviornmental sustainability, and the issues of food shortages in some countries. Lester Brown also founded both the Earth Policy Insitute and the World-Watch Society, both concerned with enviormental issues in the world. He is now most prominiently an enviornmental analyst and author. One of his most significant contributions is the Earth Policy Institute. This is an organization that is dedicated to finding and providing a sustainable future for the world. this society has set up wind farms in over 85 countries and has created a plan to switch from the fossil fuel, automible, throw-away based economics and switch to a more sustainable economy. Brown also founded the World Watch Society which is focused on sutainability and providing nutritous food to countries and thier citizens all over the world. Third, Brown has contributed over 50 books and also many contorversial opinions and ideas to the enviornmental community. Brown would fit into the global changes and human impacts part of our APES study.
