SCIO LINGUAM LATINAM I have studied Latin for the last 11 years Started in 9th grade with Mrs. Palumbo (next door) Bachelor of Arts (Chinese, Economics, Latin)- University of Arizona Master of Arts (Classics – Latin Pedagogy)- University of Arizona

Teaching Experience This is my third year teaching and my first year at GCA Previous experience: University of Arizona – Latin 101, 102, 201, and 202 Student teaching at The Gregory School in Tucson

Google Classroom and Infinite Campus Students have access to EVERYTHING through GC. It can be used on ANY device. The codes/abbreviations HW-Homework Week 1.1 (Quarter 1, week 1) VQ-Vocab quiz CQ-Chapter quiz Participation-5 times per week-SOTW Drill-Being a great student grade (tardies, cells, etc) I update all the time

OPPORTUNITIES National Junior Classical League (Latin Club) $10 Wednesdays at lunch in 110 Open door policy National Latin Honor Society (Tutoring)-Schedule on a later slide Scholarships-For seniors AZJCL, NJCL, NLE, National Latin Honor Society State Activities, State Latin Convention and National Latin Convention Italy Travel-GCA does not do the AZJCL trip

Opportunities only available to Latin Club (JCL) *National Latin Honor Society *State Latin Convention *National Latin Convention *NJCL Online Contests (vocab, etymology, civ) However, ALL students are required to take the National Latin Exam
