How will students be graded? I DO give homework most nights (2 points). HW is a wonderful feedback opportunity for both my students and me. I check it for completeness not correctness. I DO NOT accept late homework. If your student does not do their HW, they are not eligible for retakes. Extra credit : No “special” assignments will be given. I will keep ParentVUE as up to date as possible.

Classroom Resources 3 ring binder Chromebook (charged) VISION StudentVUE Google Classroom Every Assignment counts! Please remind your student to check StudentVUE and Google Classroom often.

Classroom Donations Needed Tissues Clorox Wipes Baby Wipes Pencils Cornstarch Shooter Marbles (large ones)

Remember . . . I’m here first because I care deeply about your children’s abilities and education, and secondly because I enjoy teaching (especially science). Your children’s future is theirs for the taking! Science is an important part of their future! I will do my part - and I’m counting on your children to do theirs - for them to be successful in science class and their future. Know that I believe in all of my students! I’m looking forward to an awesome year together! Mrs. Howard

We are here to learn and have fun!
