Innovation Design approach ZMESH Innovation Please insert a picture here related to your initiative/solution The fabrics of communication, our internet, is fragile and is tearing apart for many reasons, from cyber warfare to a fragile infrastructure, privacy concerns and a looming ecological crisis around the corner. Design approach ZMESH explores the cutting edge of internet development and how it can adapt to contemporary society by acting as a bridge between the different actors in society, looking at usecases for citizens, business, and civil society.

Relation to the urbanscape Scaling up prospects ZMESH Relation to the urbanscape An implementation of P2P and Mesh Networks are related to the urbanscape mainly based on three identified factors: Local Communities - citizen engagement Preparatory Infrastructure - Private and Municipality Engagement Cyber Security - Business and National Engagement Scaling up prospects The scalability potential is enormous. What we are looking at is rather which areas are the most fruitful to start the process within and where will a scalability have an immediately usable impact. On a global scale an implementation of P2P and mesh together would be groundbreaking and the first of its kind. The key stakeholders will be the determining factor.
