Overall, to what extent do you feel the things you do in your life are worthwhile?

Meaningful life Metrics 1-11 point scale (given) 0-10 point scale (alternate) 0-100 percentage scale (alternate) Differences in Mean averages SU 1 (7.81) & SU 2 (7.62) UW (6.18) UW 60+ (7.09) Possible explanation SU students engaging in activities and pursuing flow. Exhibit self-compassion and express gratitude. Core exercises force SU students to engage in these activities more than average

How much of your time are you able to spend doing things you enjoy?

Things Enjoyed Scale 1-5 Point Scale (Given) 0-100 Percent Scale (Alternate) Averages 51.3% (average) SU2- 45.5% (Lowest) 60+ - 59.9% (Highest) Possible Explanation Students are busy balancing school and work plus any other stressors 60+ participants have more experience in time management and are reaching retirement -0-100 or 0-4 makes more sense on percent because “none of the time is quantitative” Averages- All the participants fell into a score of 3, meaning that in a typical week some of the time they do what they enjoy. Looking at the scale that makes the most sense out of 0-100, All these averages are very similar, and is basically saying around 50% of the time people do what they enjoy. -Interpretation: Older folks may have scored higher and had a bigger population size because they have more free time on their hand because some may be retired, while students are busy with both school and work. Personal Example: School and grades, and photography, and other interviewed student.
