Geographical position of the USA

The USA is situated in the Central part of the North American continent. It is washed by the Atlantic Ocean in the East and the Pacific Ocean in the West.

In the North it borders on Canada and in the South it border on Mexico.

The USA is the fourth largest country in the world after : Russia, Canada and China

The USA consists of 50 states The largest state is Alaska.

The largest cities are … Philadelphia New York Los Angeles Chicago San-Francisco

The main rivers : The Missouri The Mississippi The Rio Grande

The Columbia The Colorado The Hudson river
