Year 9 Drama Workshops GOTHIC HORROR

Lesson Objectives To explore in a practical context the theme of Gothic Horror through images and music. To learn about and employ Still Images as a basis for creating theatre. To learn what makes a good Still Image To learn about tension and climax in drama To use mime and movement. To consider what sound can add to a performance To take on a variety of roles and perform to an audience.

Who would be there? What would they be doing there? How long have they been there? What are they looking for? What is so frightening? What might happen to them when they get there?
