SESSION 6 Overview presentation of available and future plans for reporting systems First OBSERVER TUNA DATABASE Workshop (OTDW-1) 3-7 March 2014 SPC, Noumea, New Caledonia

TUBS Reporting Previous OFP reporting application In the past, the OFP was producing subset of regional data for each member country, and provided this subset with an application (i.e. Observer Trip Viewer System) to generate reports PROS No need to be connected to internet to query the data CONS Need the application to be installed on your computer Data is not up-to-date and needs to be refreshed manually No access on tablets or Mac New Online OFP reporting application: TUBS Report Generate reports on your data, from any connected device The data is always up-to-date

TUBS Reporting A first list of reports has been setup, based on OFP knowledge of member countries reporting needs This system has been designed to easily setup new reports, on request. Let us know if you need any new reports We can generate new reports during this week of workshop

TUBS Reporting Access your TUBS data Secured web application Data entered at SPC and at WCPFC in TUBS are merged into one dataset This dataset is then split by country/organization, so you can access your data and only your data This dataset will be refreshed every month Secured web application You need a password to access your data So far, one password per country/organization. Later, each user will have its own login data

TUBS Reporting www.spc.int/ofp/tubsreport/XX/app/ Replace XX by your country code Make sure you use a recent web browser (Chrome, Firefox) Use the login information provided by OFP team Login: tubs Password: [enter the password of your country/organization] You should see the Tubs Report main page If not, please ask for assistance

Report group by Not suitable for all reports The group by allows user to generate the same report, with different levels of aggregation (aka data per ??) If the report uses group by, this field is mandatory, and must be picked from a list Example: Number of observer trip per

Report group by Year Year / Month
