Rules 1.2 minute 30 second rounds (just like FLL). 2.A robot can leave its base with a maximum of 3 medals. 3.Once a robot crosses the finish line, the the match is over – you cannot leave the finish area and continue doing other missions. 4.In order to load Medals onto the robot, both the robot and Medals must be fully within the base. 5.If a robot is picked up and Medals are left on the field, they cannot be carried back to the base. 1.If a robot is picked up and parts of the robot become detached, the students may return the parts to the base; any Medals attached to the robots parts must remain on the field. For instance, if robot has a scoop that contains Medals and the scoop becomes detached from the robot while on the field, the students may return the scoop to base but will have to leave the Medals on the field. The students may ask the referee to remove the medals from the field. 6.At any point during a match, a student may request that medals be removed from the playing field. The referee may then remove the medals at their discretion. Any Medals removed this way will not score and cannot be returned to the field. 7.The robot cannot hang medals from base and must completely leave base before attempting to hang medals. Any Medals scored from base will not count and will be removed from play.
