PA Statewide Innovation Job Ready Pennsylvania Industry Partnerships Training Grants Workforce Intermediary Project Prior Learning Assessment Disconnected Youth Job Ready Pennsylvania invests an additional $101 million in targeted training and education.  These limited new resources leverage $2 billion in existing funds in our workforce development and preK-12 education systems by making fundamental changes in how these systems operate. During the first year of implementation over 3,000 employees from 221 companies were engaged in advanced training made possible through incumbent worker training grants. That same year, over 450 companies participated in 45 industry partnerships. In the most recent budget, funding was made available to serve 5,000 workers through incumbent worker training grants, and to launch 25 new industry partnerships bringing the total companies served through industry partnership grants to about 500 over a two year period.
