The Civil Action Case What is it about? This illustrates Christopher Bright’s third point: Toxic chemicals released into the environment pose long term, and not fully understood, risks. The Civil Action case was transformed by the legal system. Key participants made statements after the trial which give their perspectives of what it was about.

What is the case about? This begins the clicker questions: After each quote from key participants, the question will be, “Is this a valid reason in your opinion for a civil lawsuit?” The same questions will be asked after the class presentations and before the Mock Trial. Is this a valid reason in your opinion for a civil lawsuit? No Don’t Know C. Yes

Don’t Know C. Yes

Is this a valid reason in your opinion for a civil lawsuit? A. No Charles Nelson: …What Anne Anderson wanted was some recognition that she'd been wronged.
