Earth’s Hemispheres

Located north of the Equator. Northern Hemisphere

Continents found in the Northern Hemisphere are all of Europe, all of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, majority of Asia, about 2/3 of Africa and 1/10 of South America. Oceans found are: North Atlantic and North Pacific

Located South of the Equator. Southern Hemisphere Located South of the Equator.

Continents found in the Southern Hemisphere are: Antarctica, 1/3 of Africa, Asia, all of Australia, South America, New Zealand. Oceans found are: South Atlantic, Indian, and South Pacific.

Eastern Hemisphere East of the Prime Meridian and includes: most of Africa, about half of Antarctica, all of Asia and Australia and most of Europe.

Western Hemisphere The Western Hemisphere includes about half of Antarctica and all of North and South America which includes the Caribbean, Central America and Greenland.
