1. Place masking tape to protect border 2. Prepare surface with a coat of gesso 3. Decide your colors and plan the layout 4. Lay your base color

5. Draw base lines of the layout in the wet paint with a pencil before it sets 6. Prepare your images for the collage, in this case, a Loteria card

7. Use masking tape to define layout 8. Use acrylic paint and a wet rag to create texture 9. Make your own texture in colored paper using rubber stamps 10. Define layout and cut paper to the size you need

10. Glue the pieces of paper to the journal and finish with some details drawn with makers Finished project
