Green engineering By: Connie Zhong

What Is green engineering? Green Engineering is the design, use, and manufacturing of products These products should have the least possible negative impact on the environment Negative impacts include our health, and the environment’s health The products should help the environment What Is green engineering?

Some examples of green engineering include solar panels, and electric cars We see these in our everyday lives Wind turbines is another example Impact on our lives

Examples of green engineering Solar panels Wind turbines Electrical Cars Biodegradable Plastic Clear Solar panels Examples of green engineering

Other types of engineering Green engineering also needs mechanical, electrical, and a little bit of civil engineering. Electrical cars are made mechanically, and electrical engineering is used to allow the car to charge Other fields of engineering that stem from green engineering is solar and environmental Other types of engineering

Who developed this field of engineering? What Is the salary? The person who developed green engineering is unknown It most likely was a group of people The average salary of a green engineer is $71,000 Who developed this field of engineering? What Is the salary?

Educational requirements A green engineer needs to know some of the other types of engineering Most fields of engineering need physics, mathematics, and chemistry Since green engineering is about the environment, environmental science and biology are important Educational requirements

Future of green engineering With the increasing global warming, green engineering will be needed more In the future, more eco-friendly products will be developed We will be using more of these products, such as electrical cars An example of a future product might be easy recyclable Styrofoam Also, solar panels with a greater efficiency will be invented Future of green engineering

Why green engineering is important Green engineering can make a material that can replace coal and oil Coal and oil are commonly used items that pollute our environment Also, we are digging all of these up and will run out of them soon Why green engineering is important

Why I chose this topic I care about the environment I also am interested in generating energy without producing waste I also like solar panels because they are unique I used to want to be a mechanical engineer, but now I changed my mind Why I chose this topic
