Transition of the host cellular response over the course of ZIKV infection. Transition of the host cellular response over the course of ZIKV infection. The host cellular response was analyzed and investigated by RNA sequencing, and significant transcriptomic differences were identified. (A) Transitional analysis (percentage of genes overlapping) of the top three common canonical signaling pathways was performed using IPA of infected MDMs. Venn diagrams indicate the top five common and time-point-specific genes associated with each canonical pathway. (B) Proportion of common and differentially expressed genes within ZIKV-infected MDMs at 24 and 72 hpi. Data presented were obtained from a total of five donors.
