Community Connections Project Working together to tackle loneliness and isolation in Corsham

Carer Support Wiltshire (CSW) is a local charity that supports unpaid carers. Over 47,000 carers in Wiltshire Loneliness is as bad for your health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day Carers are 37% more likely to feel lonely 75% do not know where to find support A new approach is required to reach those most affected

We are planning to deliver postcards to over 12,000 homes in the Corsham community area this winter Our aim is to reach lonely and isolated people, regardless of circumstance, and connect them with appropriate social groups and support services

Each organisation is being asked to commit to taking an active role in contacting anyone referred to them by the service. Wiltshire Centre for Independent Living, Age UK Wiltshire, Alzheimer’s Support, Wiltshire Mind Numerous local clubs and groups Sign up today Help spread the word!
