Timeline for Development (Revised) Amarillo College Strategic Plan through 2015 June 4th - Strategies and Tasks identified by Senior Administration 25th - Entire strategic plan vetted by Senior Administrators and Frontline Managers July Strategic plan finalized by President’s Cabinet College Relations publishes the strategic plan published as an electronic document with limited print copies August Board of Regents reviews, revises and/or approves at an August BOR meeting New strategic plan distributed to stakeholders Hereford and Moore County Campus Tactical Plans through 2015 Hold meeting with VPAA, HC and MCC staff meeting to brainstorm key strategies and potential tasks that HC and MCC will fulfill Hold Hereford Campus and MCC Advisory Committee Meeting to discuss and propose key strategies and potential tasks that MCC will fulfill Finalize these tactical plans with VPAA, Hereford Campus and MCC staff and Hereford Campus and MCC Advisory Committees College Relations publishes these tactical plans as an electronic document with limited print copies

STRATEGIES Definition: Statements identifying specific approaches planned to accomplish the goals. All strategies must be aimed at moving closer to the identified goals.
TASKS Definition: Statements which identify how the goals will be achieved based on the strategies. Without these statements, it would be impossible to implement the strategy and measure its success. Include: specific and short-term actions that will take place, measure for determining whether the strategy was accomplished, and assignment of person(s) responsible
Assignments (Due at 10:00 a.m.) Assignment #1: Brainstorm strategies & tasks Assignment #2: Prioritize strategies under each goal. Eliminate those that aren’t priorities for next 5 yrs. Prioritize tasks under each strategy. Eliminate tasks that aren’t priorities for next 5 yrs. Assignment #3: Propose measures and persons responsible for each strategy and/or task.
