Assignment #4: Cold War Hot Spots Comic Reflection You will have 7 minutes of “Reading Time” Read your group’s comics about each “Cold War Hot Spot” Flip it over to read CEA paragraph on back Think about how each conflict involved the US and USSR, and which of the following methods were used: Brinkmanship, Espionage, Foreign Aid, Alliances, Propaganda and Surrogate Wars Be prepared to discuss as a class and write reflectively.

Assignment #4: Group Discussion Time Summarize your situation for your group as it relates to the Cold War strategies. Group members take notes. Reflection Question (Write) 1. Discuss how EACH hot spot used the Cold War strategies: Brinkmanship, Espionage, Foreign Aid, Alliances, Propaganda and Surrogate Wars Discuss why each case study would be considered a “hot spot” in the Cold War. 3.
