Miriam As a child, she possessed both wisdom and respect for authority (Exod. 2:1-10) A leader among the women (Exod. 15:20-21) Was not perfect (Num. 12:1-16) Losing her left a hole in people’s lives (Num. 20:1, 10-11, Cf. Mic. 6:4)
